Today, on the international event market, Russia is habitually associated with two well-known capitals - Moscow and St. Petersburg. But behind these two cities is a huge country that offers a wide range of opportunities for events of any level. Recently, other regions are increasingly hosting forums, congresses and conferences. In many cities today, the necessary base has been created for holding high-level international events.

One of the goals of the Russian Convention Bureau is to promote the event potential of the Russian regions. And the activities on the regional markets was one of the key RCB's priorities during 2019. Therefore, the first issue of Open to the World in 2020 is devoted to the regional agenda, as well as the results of the RCB and partners in this area. The unique possibilities of destinations, as well as their “secrets of success” and know-how, will be shared on the pages of the magazine by regional participants of the event market and industry experts.
